Your financial partner, since 2011.

Broadview Professional Services has helped Canadian businesses stay compliant, reduce tax liability, and gain real financial clarity for over a decade. We bring precision to your books and peace of mind to your operations.

Three things you can expect from us.

i.

You'll understand your numbers

No accounting jargon, no dodged questions. You'll leave every conversation with a clearer picture of your business than you had walking in — or we've done the job badly.

ii.

No April panic

Clean books year-round mean no scramble at deadlines. You'll know your numbers by the 5th of each month — not the 25th of the year-end.

iii.

Two sets of eyes on every return

Every return is reviewed twice before filing. Missed deductions and small errors get caught inside our office — not by the CRA three years later.

Three steps.
Nothing mysterious.

i.
Step one

Discovery call

A free 20-minute conversation about your business, your current challenges, and whether we're the right fit. No pitch, no pressure.

ii.
Step two

Onboarding & setup

Flat-rate quote in writing. We integrate your systems, clean up historical data if needed, and set up QuickBooks or Xero.

iii.
Step three

Continuous care

Monthly reports, on-time CRA filings, and a bookkeeper who picks up the phone when you call. That's the whole deal.

Flat rates.
No billable-hour surprises.

You get a quote before we start, and the number on the invoice matches. If your situation is more complex than expected, we tell you before the meter runs.

New bookkeeping clients: your first month is free. No contract, no commitment. If we're not a fit, we part ways and you keep a month of clean books.

Things people ask before booking.

What if my books are a complete mess?

Honestly, that's about half of the businesses that come to us. We offer catch-up bookkeeping whether you're three months or three years behind — with a flat quote after a 15-minute look at what we're dealing with. No judgment, no "you should have been doing this sooner." We just clean it up and get you caught up to the current month.

Do I have to switch bookkeepers right away, or can we wait until year-end?

Either works, and we'll tell you honestly which makes more sense for your situation. Mid-year switches are common and straightforward — we onboard, pick up from your current records, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks. If a clean year-end break would save you headaches (and money), we'll recommend waiting.

What accounting software do you work with?

We're QuickBooks Online ProAdvisors and Xero-certified. If you're already on one of those, we'll plug in where you are. If you're still on spreadsheets, paper invoices, or something more exotic, we'll migrate you as part of onboarding — no extra fee.

How do we share documents securely?

Through an encrypted client portal, not email. Upload receipts, statements, and tax docs anytime; we access the same files on our end. It's the same security standard big accounting firms use, without the big-firm pricing. Nothing sensitive ever sits in an inbox.

Do you work with businesses outside of Calgary?

Yes. We serve clients across Alberta and the rest of Canada. Most of our work is remote: documents flow through the portal, calls happen on Zoom or phone, and filings go directly to CRA via EFILE. Being Calgary-based matters for local relationships and in-person meetings when you want them — but the work itself isn't location-dependent.

What if I decide Broadview isn't the right fit?

For new bookkeeping clients, the first month is free and there's no contract. If we're not a match, you walk away with a month of clean books and no obligation. For tax prep and one-off work, you see a flat quote before we start — and you're only invoiced once the work is complete and you've signed off.
